Inspection Equipment
The DRILCO® DC Pulse Coil has earned a long-standing reputation throughout the drill pipe inspection industry for its reliability, durability, and consistent magnetic particle inspection performance. Designed with a pulsed DC system that provides a 100% duty cycle, the coil can remain energized for extended periods without overheating, making it well-suited for demanding field and shop environments. Its rugged urethane-encapsulated construction, tailored pulse technology, and proven track record as an industry-standard inspection tool help ensure dependable defect detection and uninterrupted operation when inspection quality matters most.

EZY-TORQ® Hydraulic Catheads for Precise Torque Control
EZY-TORQ® hydraulic catheads deliver precise, repeatable torque control for the makeup and breakout of tubular connections in demanding drilling environments. Designed to provide smooth, controlled pulling force to the tongs, EZY-TORQ systems help improve connection integrity, reduce equipment wear, and enhance rig floor safety. Available in self-contained and rig-powered configurations, EZY-TORQ systems offer a reliable solution for efficient torque management across a wide range of drilling applications.
Types of EZY-TORQ Systems
Self-Contained (SC)
The SC EZY-TORQ system incorporates a hydraulic power source and a control console to operate the unit’s hydraulic cylinder assembly, which includes a specially rated wireline for easy connection to rig tongs. The entire unit can be temporarily or permanently installed on the rig floor as a self-contained system. The hydraulic controller comes with five 25-ft [7,620-mm] remote control hoses and two 25-ft cylinder hoses.
Rig Powered (RP)
The RP EZY-TORQ system provides the same reliable performance as the SC system, but it has a smaller footprint. It operates with hydraulic components that connect to an existing rig hydraulic power source, such as the accumulator portion of a BOP system or positive displacement system. The RP consists of the main control unit, and two 25-ft [7.62 m] cylinder hoses.
