Houston, Texas – Wellbore Integrity Solutions (WIS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Samir Seth as Chief Finance & Administration Officer (CFAO), effective immediately.
Samir joins WIS with more than 20 years of global financial leadership experience across the energy sector, bringing a strong track record of driving business performance, operational excellence, strategic growth, and mergers and acquisitions within the oilfield services industry.
Most recently, Samir served as Group Chief Financial Officer at TAQA, where he worked closely with executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and key stakeholders to strengthen financial discipline, support transformational initiatives, and drive long-term value creation. Prior to TAQA, he held senior leadership positions with Schlumberger and Baker Hughes, leading financial and operational functions across both U.S. and international markets. He also brings significant M&A experience, having supported strategic acquisitions, transaction evaluation, integration activities, and value creation initiatives throughout his career in the oilfield services sector.
In his role as CFAO, Samir will lead WIS’s global finance organization and oversee information technology functions, partnering closely with the executive leadership team to support the company’s strategic priorities, accelerate growth, and enhance operational performance worldwide.

Samir holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Kolkata, India, and is a Certified Chartered Accountant. He has also completed executive education programs at IMD and The Wharton School.
