High Capacity Pulling load

The PullMaster hydraulic pulling tool provides a high-capacity pulling load. It is designed to pull liners, packers, tubing, casing drill pipe, and other objects stuck in the wellbore on rigs with limited pulling or jarring capacity.

The tool has applications in the recovery of stuck liners and also during slot recovery/well redevelopment applications, where a specific TD for whipstock setting is required and the casing cannot be retrieved using conventional fishing techniques due to settled annular solids or partial cement.

Operation

The PullMaster is composed of stackable pistons that converts the hydraulics pressure into pull load.

After the BHA is run downhole and the spear is engaged to the stuck casing the PullMaster Anchor and Pulling system is activated to provide up to 1.2 Mlbf to recover stuck casing. The tool can be reset and activated multiple times as required.

The tool is also used in slot recovery and well redevelopment applications in which a specific TD for whipstock setting or pulling casing below a casing shoe is required and when the casing cannot be retrieved using conventional fishing techniques due to settled solids or partial cement.
